The 27th IBB World Championship was held virtually from November 7 to November 12, 2025, in conjunction with the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Convention in San Diego, California. A total of 39 national Brain Bee champions from across the globe took part in the competition, each having previously won the highest level of Brain Bee competition in their country to qualify for the World Championship.
